These talks will take place days after India criticised US strikes on ships carrying Indian sailors near the Strait of Hormuz. Three Indian sailors were killed in an attack on the Palau-flagged tanker MT Settebello. The two leaders are also expected to discuss energy cooperation, H-1B visa policies, regional security and the evolving situation in Middle East.
