Singh, on the other hand, believes that sarees themselves are making a stronger comeback for brides – but styled differently. “A saree with a waistcoat, a saree with a long jacket – those things will be more in now,” she says. She also notes that while lehenga sarees remain popular, the silhouette has been “overdone” to some extent, opening the door for newer interpretations.
