Big Win for BJP with 3 Seats in Kerala

Bharatiya Janata Party bags three seats in Kerala assembly in 2026 in Nemom, Kachakoottam and Chathanoor. BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar wins from Nemom, the party stronghold in Kerala. V. Muralidharan beat CPM giant Kadakampalli Surendran in Kazhakoottam and B B Gopakumar turns victorious in Chathanoor.

With its three seats, BJP marks history in Kerala assembly elections. From its single seat victory in 2016 to none in 2021, the party has also increased its vote share over the years.

While Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s victory is predicted, Gopakumar’s comes as a surprise to many. V Muralidharan’s hardwork paid off in this election. In many other constituencies, BJP has put forth a strong fight including Kazhakoottam and Palakkad.
