Counting of votes began at 8 am on Monday, with results confirming the NDA’s return to office. The alliance won 18 seats — well above the majority mark of 16. Within the coalition, AINRC emerged as the dominant force with 12 seats, followed by the BJP with four, while the AIADMK and LJK secured one seat each.
